<div>Hi I'm Paul. I am seeking very urgent help for emergency needs, firstly to save my, and my sons' home, and secondly to try to build a fund to be able to take months off work to have both hips replaced, and also to have major dental work done, likely to remove and replace all my remaining teeth with dental implants.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I started this Go Fund Me nearly 12 months ago at the urging of friends. It's not something I ever wanted to have to do, and I don't take this lightly. I'm actually severely embarrassed having to make this public. More public than I did last year anyway. I did not share this to my own Facebook page or promote it in any way. Only a few friends at the time knew about it and shared it on my behalf.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I have multiple chronic health problems as does my youngest son, both of us with severe autoimmune related problems and other complications and difficulties.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I'm 53 years old and have battled my entire life, despite my best efforts.
</div>
<div>At 15 I was diagnosed with severe Inflammatory Bowel Disease aka Crohn's Disease. This has affected me severely throughout my life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I've endured three major surgeries in that time for bowel resections of both large and small bowels, (I don't have much left) the most recent of which was seven years ago. My general health and ability to work has been in steady decline ever since and has worsened markedly in the last two years.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As well as still having treatment every eight-weeks to keep Crohn's at bay I am plagued by numerous worsening associated problems.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Crohn's disease is the give that keeps giving and affects all sufferers differently.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am constantly anaemic despite iron infusions and I suffer low blood pressure and dizzy spells. Due to years and years of particular medications accelerating natural decline both of my hips have been bone on bone for over a decade now. And three months ago I was also diagnosed with osteo-arthritis throughout my spine, particularly severe in my lumbar, and lower thoracic spine.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My nutrition and hydration, electrolytes etc and constantly compromised as I have very little gut to absorb anything.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Again due to medications and their immune-system changing affects I have had numerous melanomas removed over the years and am currently need several more cut out and tested.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My only relief from constant pain is Panadol Osteo around the clock, as I'm not supposed to use any anti-inflammatories because of my bowel disease.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Despite all this I continue to try to work, to provide for my sons, to be an example to them. Sadly my work capacity has reduced in recent years.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I'm self employed as a gardener/horticulturist for the past 17 years, out of love for what I do but also out of necessity as I due to some much time in and out of hospital and doctors appointments I could not hold down long-term employment with any employer. I kept being made conveniently 'redundant' etc.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am again currently one day away from losing our family home and trying desperately not to let this happen. I'm selling what personal possessions I can to stay afloat, as presently due to my own health I have very limited work capacity. I'm still out there trying and constantly looking to bring in more and the high-class work I'm known for, particularly in hedge pruning &amp; shaping and topiary, and rose pruning &amp; care.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I need help saving my family, my health, and our home.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I don't want my family to lose everything. I don't want to wonder where our memories and possessions ended up.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please donate what you can.
</div>
<div>Please share my story.
</div>
<div>Please do what you can to help me.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I've been trying to get help in other ways. I've been trying to get assistance from programs. I've attended Lifeline sessions, Beyond Blue programs but they all say the one and same thing, you just need more income. Easier said than done for me. I've been doing my best at this as long as possible .... but we are about to lose everything.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please help me and my kids.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I owe about around $20,000 on property and water rates $4650 of which is current arrears and is due this Tuesday June 30.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I'm six-months behind with home loan repayments. Over 18 months of electricity bills owing. A car that is only just holding on. This list goes on.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I do have a few assets in old cars I'm trying to sell to realise some cash but doing all this on my own is a herculean effort. I really am trying so hard but need a hand up to get on top of things and get the medical help I need, to just give me a breather.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I'm tight in the chest and feeling so anxious again right now typing this.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Everything is closing in around me and I need help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you can would you please consider whatever assistance you can.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It's a lifeline for me and not a frivolous request.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thanks for your time if you've stayed with me and read this far.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Sincerely, Paul G
