Hi, My name is Aran, I’m 22 years old and I recently opened my business, Mr Snak, 62 Woodvale Road, Belfast.

Only recently joining and becoming part of the Greater Shankill community, serving up great food for the people of the area and surrounding areas. Near and far!

I'm a community man, and love to give. I often give the homeless free meals, and the children of the area also love to get a wee toastie or milkshake for a treat! My staff also love to get a treat now and again

Its hard running a business at such a young age and tonight, unfortunately, I had had a kick in the teeth. With a stomach full of stone, I hate to say but someone has decided to attack my business and scare my staff at knifepoint. Taking a large amount of money from my business, implementing fear into my female staff and overall causing problems where it's not needed.

I depend on my shop as my only income, and in this economy times are tough.

Our staff have been left absolutely petrified, shocked and extremely upset, so I thought I could ask the local people of the community and further to help us through this hard time and try and help me recover some of money that has been taken so I can get back to providing the best food and customer service to the people of the Shankill.

And also to give my staff a little extra due to this horrible situation that we have experienced tonight. 07/04/2025.
