Dave Dirkswager For Anoka Hennepin School Board

My name is Dave Dirkswager and I am running for  Anoka Hennepin School Board.

I am running because now, more than ever, our kids and our schools need leaders who are positive, seek to bring people together and are willing to listen to all points of view and go forward.

I know that strong communities are built by strong schools and that we are better off when we figure out how to come together. I am running as a candidate who seeks to unite us and build upon our strengths, rather than divide us.

My Top Priorities

• Academic support for students that need additional help after this past year

• Expanding social and emotional support for all students – supporting kids’ mental health across our primary and secondary schools

• Ensuring fiscal responsibility and stable funding for the district

• Reducing class size where possible
