Sometimes, life throws challenges at us that no one should have to face alone. My old friend Serlith Barboza has endured more than her share of hardships, such as physical and sexual abuse, but she’s determined to rebuild—not just her life, but her home, too.

Right now, Serlith is living in a small shack in the middle of a cow field without windows or doors, exposed to the elements and even coyotes at night. She’s been making do for months, but she deserves so much more—a safe, secure place to call home.

We’re raising funds to buy and deliver the missing parts for her house so she can move forward with dignity and stability. Your contribution, big or small, will help put a roof over her head, keep her safe, and give her the foundation she needs to rebuild her future.
