My name is Kim Bowers, I live in Illinois and work for the cosmetics company Urban Decay.
Tiffany Sanov is an employee of Urban Decay, and a valuable part of my field sales team, located in Houston Texas. I know her personally, and am setting up this fund as a way to help her, and rally others to do so. It is my intention to donate to other broader charities and fundraising efforts as well.
Tiffany and her husband Philip, along with many other Texans, have been devastated with the recent storm that hit Houston as a result of Hurricane Harvey. Sadly as a result of the rain, their new home (they purchased last year in 2016) has been severely damaged, if not in need of full tear down. Along with the extensive damage/ loss of their home, they have potentially lost most of their belongings, heirlooms as well as Tiffany's car.
As of now, Tiffany's home is still extensively flooded, and they have 1 week until they learn if it requires extensive rebuilding or a complete tear down. Unfortunately they do not have flood insurance to back up their losses, as this area of Houston hasn't flooded before. So a complete loss.
I cannot even begin to comprehend how this must feel, and am compelled to assist her and her husband in any way possible, to let her know that she is supported.
If you are able, please donate to assist them with rebuilding and getting their life back together. They will be in temporary housing like many others for an indefinite period of time.
All funds collected here will go towards repairs or rebuilding of their home, appliances, clothing, furniture, car, etc.
