Please help Ed get some shelter!

Dear friends, neighbors, coworkers, co-citizens of this beautiful place we call home, Cache Valley, Utah.
I am so grateful to live in this beautiful valley and around people who are always willing to do everything they can to make someone's life easier.
I come to you today with a plea from my heart to see if you can assist me with an acute need for my buddy Ed Presley.
You probably have been helped by Ed at Smith's Market Place or at D.I. He is such a kind, loving, childlike person who loves to help anyone he comes in contact with. He is a very outgoing person and loves people.
Unfortunately Ed has been homeless for awhile due to trusting some people who over-promised but under-delivered.
Before these past months, Ed worked and has cared for himself for decades. He wants to live an independent life and not be a burden to anyone.
We are looking for employment as well so he can be selfsufficient again.
If you know of any housing for a single dependable guy, or employment, please contact me as soon as possible.
His acute need today is to raise some money for housing/motel expenses until we can find appropriate housing for him. Unfortunatley there is such a lack of low-income houseing in our valley.
Ed has been staying at Econolodge this past week and we hope to keep him there for awhile until we can find something else.
I have set up some accounts with some restaurants where he can go and get some dinners as well. I got him some new clothes today, so he can feel good about himself and look sharp for any upcoming employment. The LDS church is helping as much as they can as well.
I am asking for donation that can assist him with lodging today so he can have a warm place and a bed to sleep in.
Anything will help!
