Please accept our Apology from Port Angeles, WA

In case you have not heard this awful story about the family from Spokane who came to Forks, WA for an overnight camping trip, here is just one link to one of many articles.   I have called out to my community in Port Angeles to show this family some love and asked that those so moved to write a heartfelt letter of apology to the family and send it to the Clallam County Sheriff's Department to be forwarded to the family. What happened to them in Forks is not who we are and they need to know that. I am doing this fundraiser in hopes they will receive our love letters and take us up on an offer to come to visit us so we can show them the respect they deserve. These funds would be used for the expense of travelling from Spokane to Port Angeles, for lodging, food, and adventures while they are here.  This family was TERRORIZED by some local thugs from another small town west of us and we as a community are grieving for them. Please consider giving your daily Latte money to show them this world is a much better place than they think. If you can give more, Amen! We have a golden opportunity to make a terrible wrong into a beautiful right.  Hundreds have promised to send letters and it's my sincere hope hundreds will give a few dollars toward this cause. In a world so divided by hate, let's gather together to do some real good here.
