Please, 5 yr, w/ severe brain injry

My five-year-old son, Dravin, suffered a horrible head injury after tripping and hitting his head on a rock while visiting the Rogue River.  He was unconscious for the short time it took me to run to his side, and when I reached him, his right eye was 75% out of its socket.  Dravin came to, and plucked his own eye back in his head.  I immediately rushed him to the hospital.  Then, after a short stay, we were taken by ambulance to Crescent City, CA, and then by plane to a hospital in Eugene.  Dravin underwent immediate surgery to pull his eye out from under his broken cheek bone, and to stabilize the bone with cellulose.  He was diagnosed with severe brain trauma and has more recently the diagnoses of post-concussion syndrome and PTSD.  All of this was compounded by the fact that we were far away from our home in Huntington Beach, CA and had few friends in the area to call on for support.  The accident happened on June 18th, and it feels like a never-ending struggle to get my son the help he needs and to navigate the hospital system.

Adding to the normal medical costs (hospital stay, doctor visits, specialists, etc.) was the expense of the two medivacs, one by ambulance and one by plane.  The stay in Eugene and the extended period that we needed to be in Oregon before Dravin was capable of traveling home, also added to the bills.  Right now, all I can see are the mounting bills and my desire to get my son the care he needs.  What I want is to be the happy Giovenale-Fossier family that you see in the picture below.
