Pleading 4 Jude

Hello my name is Melissa Cannon.  On 11/23/15 my brother, Jeremy and sister in law, Tia found out that they were expecting their very first son, Jude Lee Craig through their gender reveal party! It was one of the happiest days of their lives. 11/24/15 exactly 19 hours later at their 20 week ultrasound, they found out that my precious nephew has a very serious and fatal chromosomal birth defect called Anencephaly. Essentially, my nephew has a very underdeveloped brain and an incomplete skull.  The doctor my nephew wasn't compatible with life and that if he did survive birth he would only live for a very brief time. Maybe even an hour. They went home completely distraught. After many prayers and complete surrender to the Lord, my brother and sister-in-law have decided to leave my nephew's life in OUR Creator’s hands. Only God can determine whether my nephew is compatible with life and after all, he was God’s son way before he was ever ours. “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb.” (Jeremiah 1:5) Tia states, " God has placed this child in my  womb to love and protect him until He calls him home. My job is not to understand why this has happened, but to cherish and nurture this little life inside of me regardless of the outcome."  We aware that some people may not understand their decision and they are ok with that. I just ask that you pray for Baby Jude. This may be the hardest thing my family will ever have to go through, but even if we get one minute with Jude alive or if we can show the world through this how gracious our God is, it will all be worth it.  Jude’s life may be brief but no footprint is too small to leave an impact in this world.  God is a marvelous, loyal, and mighty God. His grace is sufficient. He will hold us and carry us through this.  Psalm 139:14 tells me that my nephew was fearfully and wonderfully made!  #pleading4jude

In the event that God decides to call Baby Jude home the money will be used to help my brother and sister-in-law purchase a plot of land for burial and for a headstone.    The money will also be used to help them financially. Unfortunately, my brother and sister in law do not get paid maternity leave.

Jude is due April 12th!  I'm hoping to raise the money by the end of March so that they can concentrate on Baby Jude when he is born and not worry about financial expenses. Any amount of money would be beneficial and a huge blessing to my family.  May God Bless You!
