Playschool Furniture Upgrade
Donation protected
Belgravia Cooperative Playschool is a not-for-profit program for 3-4 year olds that runs in Belgravia Community Leauge Building. It has helped grow great little citizens as well as foster lifelong relationships for almost 40 years.
It is a wonderful place with a highly skilled teacher, but most of the furniture have seen their better days. With increasing costs and still affordable fees, we decided to increase our fundraising efforts beyond our other activities (like a local Farmers market, the Belgravia Hustle run, Billyco Junction Gardens, Simply Suppers and more).
To create a "warmer" and naturally inviting space, we are hoping to get great quality wooden furniture from the Canadian company Wintergreen, to last for many many years to come.
If we can raise with the money before the end of the year, a government grant will match it.
The teacher has has already bought fabric and made cushion covers and curtains to start the upgrading. Here is the rest of her wish list:
Supersized fold-n-lock ($ 1267)
Mobile triple fold-n-lock ($1152)
Media tower ($ 706)
Two section coat locker ($ 407)
Rectangular height adjustable tables, 5 ($ 365x5=1825)
Perhaps your children have enjoyed Belgravia Co-operative Playschool in the past, will in the future, or perhaps you would just like to show your support with a small donation. Either way, we are grateful for each and every penny!
Thanks for considering helping!
