Playhouse Creatures Youth Program

Playhouse Creatures Theatre Company’s Little Creatures Act Out Youth Program in association with Nazareth Housing has been providing NYC low income children education and training in theatre arts for over 7 years. The camps are FREE and held three times a year in the winter, spring and summer.  
Students receive a crash course in acting, dance, musical theatre, and stage craft.  Camp is led by professional actor/director Kenny Wade Marshall, professional actress/vocalist Jennylind Parris, and educator Teresa Dean. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are also provided.  
We at PCTC want to not only keep our camp running through the spring and summer but also want to keep it FREE!  Many of our students could not afford this opportunity as many city theatre arts programs charge tuition.  
The cost of lunches, breakfasts, snacks,  t-shirts, awards, and performance space continues to rise.  
For the first time since the camps inception it was feared that spring camp and possibly even summer may not happen.  However, enrollment for Little Creatures the last two years has continued to dramatically rise. 
PCTC kindly asks if you would be willing to donate to our cause.  The life skills that our kids take away from their week in camp is huge.  Reading comprehension, overcoming shyness, teamwork, creative thinking, empathy...just to name a few. 
While we would love any donation you could give, why not consider sponsoring a camper? For just 60 dollars you can give a Little Creature snacks, lunches, breakfasts for a whole week plus their award and t-shirt.
