Players North Boys Soccer

We are the Players North 2001 and 2002 boys’ soccer teams from Reno, NV. We are a team that operates on a budget independent of the club budget. Therefore, all expenses are paid by the families and fund raisers put together by the team. Our league and most tournaments are out of state and are cost prohibitive for many of the families.

The funds we receive will support the expenses of both boys’ teams for the 2017/18 season and any and all donations go directly to cover the costs the boys incur for playing and traveling. The season has started and the first tournament is around the corner.

Specifically, the money will be used for uniforms and equipment, scholarships, league and tournament fees, and travel expenses. We conserve our resources by sharing the driving, hotel rooms, and cooking our own meals. It is a real family.

We are a pair of teams that are run entirely by volunteers. The coach, managers and parents that are dedicated to the success of the teams have full-time jobs and do all of their support work in their spare time.

With multiple league and tournament championships on their resume, we would like to take these boys to the next level in out-of-state league play and higher level tournaments and need your help to get there.

We know there are many important needs in the world right now. Victims of the recent hurricanes, the Las Vegas shootings, and the California fires all need your help. We would only ask that after you consider those, that you consider giving these boys a helping hand up.
