We find ourselves in a position right before a massive leap: that agonizingly ecstatic moment of surrender to the unknown, just as it curls its tendrils toward you.
Burning Man calls us, and for months we have planned to attend and were going ask for community help to do so, but then we also now have been put on sudden notice that we have to move in three weeks, right before we leave at the end of August! :O
The situation is a precarious one for us. For a few years now we’ve been building a community around healing and ceremony; it has been a labor of love to bring people together in a space that's safe for sensitive people. We’ve put a lot of resources into it while simultaneously choosing to put our individual endeavors to the side. For this reason, in order to take this next step in expanding our horizons both as individuals and community builders - we are asking our family and friends to support our journey to the Mecca for the Weird…. and to bridge an otherwise unfathomable chasm in the storyline of our housing situation.
As visionary leaders and proponents of the ancient ways, we live in between worlds which both brings us a capacity for creation that inspires others to live outside the box as well as a determined sense of commitment to midwiving a socioeconomic paradigm that provides opportunities for liberation. What this means in practical terms is that we are co-creating avenues of financial empowerment for healers, while also bringing magic, ritual, and ceremony to an otherwise tired and greyscale world.
Going to Burning Man seems to be something that unexpectedly and organically unfolded for us, so we are heeding the universe’s call and rising to the (very strange and special) occasion, but we will definitely need your help to get there, and to make sense of our lives on either side of it! We expect to bring many insights and offerings back with us to share after this epic initiation into a deeper level of our beings, and thus will greatly appreciate any amount you’d like to chip in for this next chapter in our story.
As we never ask for help in this way, even a $10 donation is a big deal for us! We are learning to receive, to ask for help from our community when we need it, and while we recognize that going to Burning Man isn’t exactly a life-or-death situation which may be more worthy of your charitable contribution, we feel it is a journey worth supporting, given the expansion and opportunities it will bring us as pioneers in the consciousness field, which we can then pass on to you in turn.
We’d also appreciate any leads on housing (3BR/2B house w/ 2 cats, available starting 8/20), and/or a share of this campaign! Thank you for your love and consideration during this strange passage of time!!
