Raising money for Plaxtol Church, Macmillan Cancer Support and the Red Cross (to be split equally)
We are an enthusiastic group of Plaxtolians who love to bake. What's more, we enjoy baking for others. During the Covid pandemic, we baked for a number of NHS staff, who live amongst us, on a weekly basis. The cakes were taken into their workplaces and gratefully received by hardworking colleagues. Imagine finishing a 12-hour night-shift and finding a piece of freshly-baked Victoria Sponge waiting for you?!
Recently, we have decided to put our baking skills and energies into raising money for some causes that are particularly important to us. We are holding a virtual Cake Sale on Saturday 19th September. Donate here and let us know on Plaxtol Facebook Page what cake you would like.
