Plastic Pollution Cake: Raising awareness for marine conservation
I have designed a unique cake that will hopefully deliver an important message about our plastic pollution crisis. The cake is due to debut at TetZooCon, a London convention where scientists and wildlife enthusiasts gather on the 6th and 7th of October.
I haven't been paid to create this cake, it's a labour of love, however I have discovered a problem. I live in Derbyshire and I plan to travel via train to the event. This makes transporting a large cake difficult. Hiring people to do it, isn't cost effective, but I have a plan.
I plan to purchase first class tickets from Chesterfield to London, this will ensure that we can travel with extra space for a large cake and the risk of the cake being damaged in transport remains minimal.
Any donation is greatly appreciated and will go towards purchasing these tickets. If money is left over, proceeds are then donated to the marine conservation society UK.
£230 will cover both me and my father (whose helping me transport it) to London
Thank you!
