Plant Medicine for Yogis Training Fund for Jon Cope

To make a long story short, I am seeking to attend their ‘Plant Medicine Retreat for Yogis’ in June and am seeking funding to be able to make the trip to deepen my capacity to show up as the most effective healer I am being guided to become.

“What are you going to do on your birthday,” is a funny question for me—especially as a Pisces. Typically my response is to just spend the day staring at a wall. My truest desire would be for all people on the Earth to disappear for a day so I can roam around it in a way that feels untethered to anyone or any obligation to anything, and especially escape the navigation of anyone else’s psychic energy that I endure on a normal basis. This is an unlikely manifestation.

Because of the unlikelihood of the latter, I typically ground myself to desire to do nothing in particular on my birthday except to align with the energy that allows me to feel most at peace in my being. As I revisit this question with more intentionality in my response and lean more into more material manifestation of what my heart desires, I find myself doing something I don’t usually do which is make a outright request and reaching out to those that happen upon this this post and feeling particularly generous:

If you have had any conversation with me in the months since I went to Ecuador on a Plant Medicine retreat with @AylluMedicina, I feel most of my chats with anyone who will listen to me end up with me mentioning my experience in one way or another. If you are familiar with what a Plant Medicine retreats entails, ayahuasca is a large part of the experience (if you are unfamiliar, I suggest following the aforementioned handle and viewing their website: https://www.ayllumedicina.com/)

Through my various spiritual initiations (obtaining my RYT200 Certification at @TheWellCollective and venturing to Ecuador on a plant medicine retreat with @ayllumedicina), I find I have purged a lot of conditioned qualities about myself that do not serve my humanity. By surrendering to the will of the universe and embracing my capacity to flow with what feels right to my soul, I have accomplished my heart's desires—most of all integrating more with myself. I have been exposed to the type of healer I want to become based on the guides I had during my introduction to indigenous plant medicine.

As I see it, in our political and societal climate, our world will need healers that are capable of showing up for others in ways I have learned at Ayllu and this is where I am being guided. As I have come to realize, my propensity for fashion and developing my own style has actually served as my own personal exploration of my highest Self. I find myself wanting to offer healing services that allow me to support others through an exploration of self through meditations on external style and what liberated expression looks and feels like. Being a spiritual guide is sacred, and I want to offer the most sacred experience for those I work with. Your donation to my education in this regard would be the one birthday request that would bring me THE most joy.
