Placide's Transport/Moto Fund

Placide will be entering his final (senior) year at the School of Architecture, Department of Construction Management and Techology (quantity surveying) at the University of Rwanda. He has recently obtained an unpaid internship on a contruction site in Rwanda for the summer. However, the site is far from where he lives and transportation is expensive. In order for him to complete the internship, and gain experience and opportunity for future employment after he graduates, he requires a consistent mode of transportation. We hope to raise money for him to purchase a moto (scooter). Here is a message from him: 

Hello everyone!

All these years, you have been amazing and everything to me, I appreciate for that and I am grateful.

I have finished 3rd year which means, I will graduate next year in mid-July. Now I got an internship  and I will be spending the whole day on construction site by doing practical and looking how the job is being done on another side which I liked too much. My boss told me that, if this project completed well, it will give me a good chance on the next two projects that are on hold.

I am facing with a big problem of transport from where I live to where I will be traveling to internship place on construction site and offices. And as I used to live nearby school to avoid too much transport fee. I was thinking about buying a scooter which will help in reducing too much transport because sometimes I will be working on the field and I know it will kindly help me in daily consumption of time and money for transport.

On this project I am basically in steel work and engineering.
