Hurricane Harvey Relief Apt462

Donation protected
Hello beautiful people!

As most of you know, Hurricane Harvey swept through southeast Texas and hovered over Houston delivering more than 10 trillion gallons of water. With all of the rain, many parts of Houston are flooding or completely  underwater and the storm has yet to make its exit. Families with young children still await rescue from their homes and relief in the form of water, food, and clothing. Many schools, government offices, and businesses are closed up until Monday September 4th, as of right now but could be delayed further.

Loved ones from far away continue to call and check on our safety. So many have reached out and asked how they can help but the truth is, we are blessed that the rain and flooding have had little effect on us. We understand that the drainage in our community is creating nightmares for others, especially those who live close to bayous.

For the next week, at minimum, we have committed ourselves to helping those affected by Hurricane Harvey by doing any and everything in our capacity to those affected! Everyone that rode out the storms and flooding from Apartment462 is asking that our family and friends donate so that we can buy diapers, formula, food, water, clothing, hygiene packs, and/or school supplies. We will list all of our group snapchat account so that our followers can see us as we give back through their donations. All of you will be able to account for our movements and how your money is spent. Not only do you get to see where your money goes, feel free to reach out and point us to specific people who are struggling in the Houston area. If we can get to them, then we will help any way we can.

We are heading to George R. Brown Convention Center to volunteer our efforts to the almost 9,000 displaced men, women, and children.

We plan to check in with updates on our safety, the city's needs, volunteer locations, and any other information we encounter.

Hurricane Harvey hurt Houstonians all over and it easily could have destroyed our homes, flooded our cars, and the worst, killed our loved ones but we have been safe, dry, and been able to continue to have water and power. It  EASILY could have been us! We ask our family and friends, near and far, to help us give back to the city that has given many of us so much!

With love,

Apartment 462
