David is a 12 year old middle school student from Broomall, PA (Del county). After a fun afternoon at the Lego exhibit at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, he wasn't feeling well. After a visit to a local hospital he was transferred to Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia and he was diagnosed with Undifferentiated Embryonal Sarcoma of the Liver (UESL). UESL is the is the third most common liver cancer in children and adolescents.
David spends his free time building with legos, working on art projects and playing board games.
He likes watching college football, and roots for Navy. His older brother, Jakob roots for Army.
He has an interest in cars. His "job goal" is to be a "EOD" specialist, (bomb squad).
David has started his battle to beat this disease. While mom and dad work, we all know they have a big challenge ahead. There will be expenses that insurance doesn't cover. We are all praying for their family and David's healing, but there are things needed in addition to prayers. We are reaching out to family, friends, and the community to come together to help them get through this financially, so they can concentrate on their family and getting David better.
