Hi friends and family,
As you may or may not have heard, my amazing fiance Martha was recently diagnosed with Endometrial Cancer on September 21st, 2017.
Her journey began a year ago with some mild discomfort which gradually increased to intense pain. After many doctor's visits, biopsies, ultrasounds, rounds of medication and one surgery later her doctor and pathologist finally identified the source. Her pathology report came back with Stage 1 (Figo grade 1) Endometrial adenocarcinoma with focal clear features (possibilites of a higher stage of cancer).
Her fight has just started and she will be having surgery on October 18th, 2017 and possibly a few rounds of chemo/radiation.
Well-wishes, support, prayers, positive vibes and love have poured in which have humbled and overwhelmed us with positivity. Martha is such an amazing woman and if you're lucky enough to have called her your friend or family you know just how beautiful, generous, kind, giving, funny, comitted, loving and deserving she is.
So we are starting this fight together and because this has all happened in a span of a month we are trying to prepare ourselves financially with the inevitable medical bills that come with Cancer, chemo/radiation. As much as we hate to ask we are very much in need and ANY amount donated will be greatly appreciated and used toward medical bills and our mortgage for peace of mind.
