Hi my name is Vernice and I’m fundraising for my little girl pixie rose. As many of you know pixie has Down syndrome and two known heart conditions aswell as other physical mobility issues. Pixie was awarded higher rate mobility 3 years ago so I learned to drive and got a mobility car for appointments and taking pixie to her happy places on a weekend she’s been through so much I think it’s the least she deserves. In her short life she’s already undergone heart surgery after a cardiac arrest.

pixie is physically unable to walk when outdoors and she is reliant on a push chair which she has now outgrown although she’s 6 she is only very small this was something we could use as an aid but we can no longer rely on a push chair.

I have secured pixie a specialist pram from a charity but the lose of the car will have a huge impact. I would really like to try and get some funds together so I can put down a deposit on a suitable car for pixie.
