Pixie is focused on Diversity and Inclusivity and have partnered with Bloomfield Public Library's Children's Branch to create professional theatrical performances for children and offer educational opportunities to serve the community.
The goal is to empower artists, create jobs, serve our community while creating a safe artistic haven to nurture creativity, confidence, and dreams. We firmly believe that if your dreams don't scare you then you aren't dreaming big enough, and no venture was ever built without assistance.
We need some some love and are asking for your help. Who doesn't need a little love and encouragement when starting something brand new? Don't you remember when you were first getting started on a new project and what that was like? Baby companies always need a hand up!
This company is starting at ground zero. We have Frankenstein lighting from the 1930's, but the stage is beautiful! Definitely counting our blessings! Our rental fees are $1900.00. That's where most of the funds are going, but worth every penny to see a kid's face light up and find a hero.
The first production is a non-traditional take on Cinderalla and is audience interactive. Funds would be required by no later than May 2018.
If you ever wanted to buy me a drink, have a meal with me, encourage me, do stuff that costs money, watch shows together, see my work, now would be a great time to donate in place of those things and would go a long, long way in my artistic endeavors!
