Ex-Fighting Dog Fights for Life

Pixie was adopted two weeks ago at the "Home for the Holidays" adoption event in Oklahoma City. You can read here the original story of the magical connection between Pixie and the boy who chose her.

Pixie is in trouble now and is very, very sick. Her new family is devastated and has done everything they can to help Pixie get better. She is staying at the animal hospital and has already received a blood transfusion. Pixie is their son's first dog and he is heartbroken. The animal shelter volunteers became very fond of this sweet little dog, and have decided to raise money to help the family pay for the vet bills to save Pixie.

All the money donated here will go straight to Pixie's veterinary bills. This money is not being raised by any organization--just by individuals who love this dog and want to help this family.
