BREAKING BARRIERS

For six years, Energy Fitness has supported Pivot's efforts in Madagascar. While each year presents a new set of challenges, we are committed to aiding their efforts and breaking barriers they face each day to expand their reach three-fold. Geographical and transportation challenges are high on the list, but also funding and staffing are an ever-present reality.

Driven by a commitment to health as a human right, Pivot combines quality healthcare services with rigorous scientific research to prevent needless suffering, strengthen public health systems, and shape scalable healthcare solutions for Madagascar and beyond.

MAKING AN IMPACT

Working closely with the Government of Madagascar, Pivot is helping those who suffer from inadequate health systems lead themselves and their families toward healthier lives. By measuring their impact on population health in Ifanadiana District since 2014, Pivot knows that their health system strengthening activities have supported a rise in healthcare access and meaningful change in key population health outcomes, such as child mortality, over the past 8 years.

BREAKING BARRIERS CHALLENGE

OCTOBER 16 - 30

To bring awareness to the challenges of those in Madagascar and the barriers that Pivot faces to provide further healthcare services, we're going to overcome our own physical barriers. During this challenge, you will select one (or more) of Energy's "Barriers" or one of your own, write it on the provided card and post it to the challenge wall. Once you overcome your obstacle you can tear down your card in victory! All participants who break their barrier will be put into a drawing to win great prizes.
