Pituitary Adenoma Tumor

Donation protected

I unfortunately have a Brain Tumor. It is called a Pituitary Prolactinoma Tumor. It only took 5 different types of MRI's and two CT Scans in six weeks to come to this conclusion. The Nero Surgeon says it's expensive realestate from the neck up so doing the test are cheaper than doing a biopsy, which would have been done through the nasel cavity. There is nothing cheap about doing medical test.

The pituitary gland is in the base of the brain and behind the nasal passages. A large tumor can press upon and damage the brain and nerves.  Vision changes or headaches are symptoms. Treatments include surgery and medications to block excess hormone production or shrink the tumor. In some cases, radiation may also be used.

I'm happy to be going to Buffalo for treatment because Roswell Park is considered number two in the country for Cancer treatments.

The worst part has been all the symptoms including the, bringing me to my knees all day headaches, which have put me into the emergency room.

Symptoms
Exaggerated facial roundness
High blood pressure
Rapid or irregular heartbeat
Excessive sweating
Bruising
Anxiety, irritability or depression
Nausea and vomiting
Weakness
Increased amount of urine
Unintended weight gain
Loss of memory

I am still trying to work but have had to turn some work away because of not being able to provide high end photography for my clients.
