Pitt DPT service trip to Guatemala

This March, myself and 13 other classmates from the University of Pittsburgh Doctor of Physical Therapy program will be spending our spring break on a service trip in Guatemala.  We are traveling with 3 licensed physical therapists, and we will be providing free physical therapy services to those in need.  This is the second year the program has gone on this trip, with last year being extremely successful.

This service trip is not sponsored by the university or included in our tuition, so we are funding this trip out of pocket and with donations.  The money raised here will be distributed among each of us to help with the remainder of costs.  This trip will provide all of us priceless experience in our soon to be career, allow us to incorporate all of the knowledge we have gained in school and our clinical experiences, and provide us with lifelong memories of the patients we were able to help.  Any money you can spare will be greatly appreciated.
