<div>We are Emilia and Clem, Pistachio's parents. Pistachio is our baby and it breaks our heart to see her suffering like this. Emilia has her own medical problems right now, can barely walk and has not been able to work in the past two years; we have paid quite a bit for treatment not covered by our insurance (over $10,000/year for Physio, Chiro, etc each year for the past three years) and Pistachio's sickness has come at the worst possible time.

<div>Pistachio was throwing up all Friday night into Saturday morning. We took her to the vet on Saturday and were sent home to see if she would get better overnight. Sunday she was worse and had to be admitted to the hospital. Monday the internal medicine specialist was at the vet and performed an ultrasound and discovered that Pistachio's pancreas was inflamed.

<div>So far we the costs for Pistachio's treatment have been $3757.86:

<li>Blood Testing $91.50 per retest, for 1-3 retests as required ($91.50 to $274.50)

<li>Medications $100 to $200 per 24hrs in hospital ($500 to $1000)

<li>Sedation, Naso-gastric Tube, X-ray if required ($0 to $738.92)

<li>Up to $4663.42 + $606.24 taxes
