Pirates Code II ~ for Bobby Rogers

Donation protected

This page has been redacted in the hopes that the boats current captor will release the vessel to its rightful owner.

We were asked by the other side's attorney to remove references that might upset or offend, and we have done so IN GOOD FAITH, as we have been operating all along. We hope that this will encourage the other side to do the same.

Okay, ******************, we'll buy Bob a new boat. A better boat.. And a really big Commodore's Hat.

Bobby Rogers was the FIRST person to welcome me to his Island. I know he was probably the first person to welcome many of you as well.

Bobby's home was washed up onto the hard during Hurricane Irma. Having had engine trouble before the storm he was unable to stuff the boat in the mangroves. It was washed onto ************ property during the storm.

And that is where it still sits today, because ************************. It is slowly deteriorating, molding, and rotting to the point that when we do actually have the opportunity to retrieve the boat, it won't be worth the cost of a crane.

Despite the fact that our community came together to offer a crane and repair of the property,  ********* *************** the boat until Bobby pays him some arbitrary sum, which seems to be increasing on a whim.

The Islamorada Firefighters, where Bobby is a volunteer firefighter, showed up to support Bobby, as did so many other people, but ************ keeps pointing to Hurricane damage that Bobby needs to pay for before ************* , even though it was clearly hurricane damage, not from the boat itself.

After watching this go on for 3 months, with Bobby being kept out of his home, I want to raise enough funds to buy him a new boat.

Where the money goes:

1. Work with Bobby to find him a vessel worthy of being called The Pirates Code II, and equip it to live aboard.

2. Ensure that *********** gets to ************ 'Mariah' currently******************* I possibly ***. It seems only fair, as ************************ it for ransom, he must really like it there.

3. Any additional funds will go to replacing the business related items that Bobby's company lost during the storm: kayaks, paddleboards, etc. so he will be able to continue running his watersports company.

I will be setting up a Corporation or LLC to hold ALL of these assets, which will prevent any sort of liability from ************* that may follow our new resolution.

We tried nice, we tried legal remedies, and I am proud to say that I haven't regressed back to tactics better left in the past.

But there is one man we all know and love who could use our help.

I hope you will join me in setting things right.
