Pippa needs your help, please.
She is our 9-year-old puggle who we love dearly. She’s goofy, energetic, my daughter’s best buddy, and she LOVES to play ball!
On May 23rd, Pippa awoke and was very lethargic, not herself at all. She was having trouble standing, not eating, and she didn’t want to move… only to lay there with her head down. We took her to the emergency vet, where they ran tests and discovered her stomach was filled with blood. They suspected she could have a mass in her stomach that was bleeding, but they don’t know because they can’t get a clear ultrasound. Thus, they may have to open her up to look in her stomach to figure out what’s going on. Prior to surgery, they ran blood tests and found her blood is no longer clotting, and they don’t know why. They are giving her plasma, blood, vitamin K, and monitoring her. They drained 750ml of blood from her stomach (which is a lot for a 25lb dog).
Once they get Pippa’s blood clotting again, surgery is still on the table to find out the source of the bleeding. We want them to do everything they can to help Pippa, but we need your financial help and prayers, please!
Thank you for helping Pippa!
