Carl and Diana Read were involved in a horrible car wreck on 9/14/18 in Iowa County. They had their puppies traveling with them. They were on their way to the next job when their camper was hit they rolled it twice. A young man was speeding in his parents car and hit them from behind. The young man had no Drivers License and vehicle was not his. Carl and Diana were rushed to University to Iowa Hospital where they were treated for their injuries. Diana sustained head trauma and some internal injuries. Carl was banged up pretty good as well. They both SURVIVED! Diana was given dye to check for more internal issues and upon doing so they found breast cancer. Carl and Diana dogs were taken to the local animal shelter by the deputy and are being held and cared for until they can pick them up. This couples truck and camper were totaled and demolished. They are Tennessee native and now have to travel back home to start the battle of Diana's breast cancer. I come humbly before asking you to donate in any way if you can. Carl has been a pipeliner for 20+ years and his wife Diana travels with him as well and takes care of her teenage daughter back home and also works on her career as a Gospel Soloist. These two are wonderful people and I am proud to call them my friends. They will help you out in any way and are always glad to see you. They are not only our friends they are OUR family. They have a long road ahead of them and Carl will need help getting back on his feet as well as taking care of Diana. If you cannot donate please feel free to pass this along and share! Thank you!!!
