PinkDoor Auto Air

I operate a small business that was started by my Father in 1949. We specialize exclusively in automotive air conditioning for the New Orleans area.

We are (and have been for many years) the ONLY business in the area (New Orleans and vicinity) that offers auto and truck air conditioning parts, sales, new ac installation and service exclusively.

This past month, the city decided it was time to inspect and levy fines, fees and penalties on businesses and buildings for code violations. We have been in this particular building (built in 1962) since 1972 and have NEVER seen or heard from the city before this.

Long story short, the city decided we now have to close or move our 71 year old family business because of a roof leak and a few other 'violations'.

Not that anyone should be exempt from these things, but quite honestly, is this a side effect of all the businesses closing that the city is no longer receiving tax income from?

We honestly cannot afford the entire roof repair, and having been closed for over a month now, are suffering like so many other businesses, but as a DIRECT result of city mismanagement.

If we have to close, we feel it will be a loss to our city and community that we have served proudly for so long.

Please consider donating for our building repairs so that we can once again serve you, our valued customers with our professional, quality service.
