Micheal "Pineapple" Sison, is the unofficial Mayor of Ocean View & the father of my 2 beautiful children. We have been divorced for many years yet we have remained friends because it is impossible to not be Mike's friend. We raised our girls as a team. And Mike is definitely the guy you want on your team.
He is without a doubt one of the most warm-hearted & giving people on earth. He will do without in order to provide for others struggling to make ends meet. It's who he is. He has many friends & family members who know that what I say is true.
Well now this kind, genourous man has been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. He begins chemo next week & is no longer able to work... but there is a nearly 6 month wait before disability benefits go into effect.
No one could be prepared for the financial burden this kind of illness brings. Mike is a hardworking man, but like many, he lives paycheck to paycheck. He has spent his life's earning on taking care of loved ones. It brings him joy to do so. He's not the type to ask for help, so I am asking for him.
Perhaps those of you he has helped out over the years, without ever asking to be repaid, can help him get through this. All donations will go directly to Mike to help cover his living expenses, food, clothing, rent etc. He has always been the guy to pay it forward, now he needs us to do the same.
Mike is eternally optimistic & gracious. Please pray for him, help us keep a positive outlook, & visit or call him.
