Vanessa Laura Nunes died unexpectedly on 12/3/2017 in at the age of 68.
Vanessa was born on May 31, 1949 in New Bedford, Ma. to Laura and John Pina. She graduated from New Bedford High. She was married to the late Samuel C. Nunes, After spending Many years in the educational system and later fostering children she moved to Stone Mountain Georgia. Vanessa was well known and loved in her communities as a motherly figure to all and a warm hearted friend. She was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness and daycare provider. She was a generous individual who loved family and who was passionate about education and child development. Anything raised will help her children pay unpaid medical bills and any services incurred from her passing unexpectedly.
