Impact. It’s a simple word that means so much. Each year my goal is to have an impact on my community and my world. When I moved to Morris, just three years ago, I saw a need and quickly worked to fill it. I noticed that my new community lacked in the arts, in particular theatre. So I instantaneously formed a theatre company whose goal was to to provide high-quality family-friendly entertainment to the community. We brought our first musical, Disney’s Aladdin, to the East Side Park. I’m happy to report that the show brought in hundreds of people to sit and enjoy the arts.
The success of Aladdin made me realize that the community needed this new outlet. Over the past few years the company has grown and we now find ourselves ready for the next big step. That’s where you come in. We’d like to purchase our own space. Having our own dedicated space would allow for our group to grow and provide more artistic opportunities to the community. We have been fortunate enough to find a space that is, in my opinion, perfect for us!
I’m sure that you are constantly asked for donations from non-profits all of the time each with their own reason for financial need. The theatre company is ready to use your donation to impact the lives of many of our community members from the very young to the very old. The arts play an important role and our community deserves to have a dedicated space for the arts.
We are looking to raise $10,000 for our new building. These donations will be use to purchase the building and some of the necessities needed to make it into a theatre. By making a tax deductible donation to our campaign, you'll be directly contributing to the people of our community. Additionally, you'll be recognized for your generosity as a campaign supporter on our website and in the new building.
