AIRLINE PILOTS RAISING MONEY FOR SERIOUSLY ILL AND DISABLED CHILDREN
As airline pilots we have the possibility to do what we love the most: flying.
Even after spending thousands of hours in the cockpit, flying is still very special to us: a childhood dream that became reality.
With this thought in mind, we united ourselfs as Pilots For Charity and made it our mission to collect money for the Dutch foundation Stichting Hoogvliegers. This charity makes the dream of flying come true for seriously ill and disabled children. On top of that: they get to be a pilot for a day.
We cannot think of a better charity to support than a charity that literally fulfills the dream of flying, especially since we used to have the same dream. We hope you feel the same way and that you want to support our mission to raise money for Stichting Hoogvliegers by donating. We make the promise that 100% of the donations go to charity.
Other projects
- Instagram donations cans
We have send free donation cans across the globe to pilots with an Instagram account. These pilots have joined our mission to raise money for foundation Hoogvliegers, since together we can achieve great things!
- Ko Piloot Worldtour
The mascot of foundation Hoogvliegers is a plush airplane called Ko Piloot. Ko Piloot is joining commercial pilots on their travels across the globe and his experiences can be followed on social media. Ko Piloot is also logging his flight hours in a logbook. Early 2020 we will host an auction to sell Ko Piloot to the highest bidder.
- Carbagerun Winter Edition
Last year we also joined this 5-day roadtrip across Scandinavia to raise money for foundation Hoogvliegers. After the great success of last years roadtrip (€1570,-) we have decided to join this event once again to raise funds for charity. We are driving in our promotion vehicle that is completely wrapped as a Follow Me car. This type of vehicle can be found in commercial airports to guide landed aircraft to their gate. The entire event is self-sponsored and 100% of the donations we receive go to foundation Hoogvliegers.
