On Tuesday, July 9, 2019, heaven gained another angel, Pia Jacobson.
Loving mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend, Pia taught all of us a lesson on courage, strength, and being positive since she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in April 2018.
Pia fought with such unbelievable courage this past year through all the chemo and radiation, surviving a bone marrow transplant and beating numerous complications of GvHD. She fought until the very end because she didn’t want to leave her babies without their mommy. Throughout all of the challenges this past year, Pia kept saying “I choose happy” and lived every day with strength and grace.
We established this fundraiser to honor Pia’s memory by raising donations to ensure both Penelope and Canaan have the opportunity to fulfill their college dreams. Your donations will be placed into a college trust fund.
