Pi Kappa Alpha Breast Cancer Fundraiser
Donation protected
Breast cancer affects the lives of all of us, whether it is our family, friends, or personal diagnosis. Each day last year, an estimated 75 Canadians heard the life-changing words, “You have breast cancer”. And while more people are surviving a breast cancer diagnosis than ever before, it’s still the most common cancer and second leading cause of cancer death among Canadian women. 14 women a day will die from breast cancer, but it does not have to be that way. Early detection and research is vital into helping those 75 Canadians to get the help they need, and that is what we plan to do. Crowdfunding and donations are some of the most effective ways is helping these people every step of the way on their journey. In efforts of supporting the millions of people battling this disease, the Kappa Mu Chapter of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity will be hosting a fundraiser in hopes to raise money for all these incredibly brave men and women. All donation will go directly to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada
