Hello, I am raising money to buy the photography gear that I need to continue my work.

Here is a little of my story :) ... I found my passion for photography in 2002 when I got to travel to Hawaii, it was impossible to take a bad picture of the gorgeous sunsets with my little digital camera. After bringing it home and uploading to the internet, someone asked if I sell royalty free. Having no idea what that was, I googled it and found royalty free stock photography, iStockphoto! After uploading some work there and getting an actual download, which at the time paid me about 10 cents... I pretty much dropped everything I was doing and went into it full time. Becoming so passionate about photography, I started the SLC Photo Club, and ran that for about 10 years - teaching myself everything about photography so I could teach others.
I have had an amazing journey with photography, with so many beautiful and talented friends. Normally, the way that I work is to make my money in the stock photography world, and trade images to my talented artist friends, creating a free photo shoot for them and a way for me to work full time as an artist and live. After some major changes in the industry (long story), and losing my creative motivation, favorite lens, and studio lighting in my marriage & divorce in 2015, my income has diminished - I am left with one light (ring flash), camera and a wide angle lens... which I absolutely am thankful for because I can keep shooting! BUT.. in order to take my work to the next level, my soul is calling out for some beautiful lighting and the right lens to shoot portraits.
Here is the gear I am looking to buy:
$2,060 - $4,000
Profoto B1 500 AirTTL Battery-Powered Flash - this is an expensive light ($2,060 each) ! If I raise enough money, I will be buying two of these. This is a powerful light that I wil also be able to take on location with me - which has the ability to create some AMAZING onlocation photos.

Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM Lens
This lens is what I need to shoot portraits in studio <3

Pocket Wizards. I can get about 2 pocket wizards with this amount, which will let me trigger several lights at once - very important to get the key light and rim light ya know ;) hehe.

Beauty Dish... I am in love with beauty dish lighting!!
So the total amount I am looking to raise is about $4,300 to $6,360 ish.
Rather than being out there, working a $10 an hour job, barely getting by...I hope to be creating beautiful and amazing pieces of art that I get to share with the world... AND hooking up other local artists in town to promote their work! This is what I need to take my work to the next level :)
