Hello, good people, My name is Michael and I am from the beautiful city of Derry~Londonderry in the North West of Northern Ireland, I am a photographer, videographer and photo restorer, I also have a photography facebook page under the name of @Michael A Rodgers Photography.
I am here to ask for help in getting some funding for new equipment that I am looking to get, ranging from a DSLR camera, some lenses, a faster and up to date laptop and a better and semi pro to professional camcorder, as these items I have are so old and starting its way out and failing on me.
The laptop will be used to edit photos and videos for people, for the people in my community that I do voluntary for, I even do voluntary work (for nothing) as part of a community group as a voluntary technical assistant, as it is the only thing I can do at the minute, both because of this covid-19 and cannot get work anywhere in this field or any other job, which is very hard for me to get a job with being over qualified and not having the necessary experience.
I am going through a tough time with getting a good cash flow, as I have nobody to help me get any funding of any sort as I am having trouble with funds at the moment, and that is why I am desparate the these items, as this will help me to help people in my community that I help with, with all the photography, videography and photo restoration, to give them all their happiness and those special memories they have in their lives, even the elderly, which brings me happiness and joy by helping the people of my community.
I really hope I can get help with my fundraising, as I am quite desparate and having nothing else, which is why I need these, all to help others in my community and the voluntary tech assistant role I do, which helps the community group that I do voluntary jobs with, by helping them with any photography, videography and photo restoration jobs they may have, which I get nothing for doing all this voluntary work in my community.
