Please help Diana keep her home

As many of you know, Phil made his journey to our Father’s Home in the early hours of December 5th, 2014.

The past 15 months have been incredibly challenging for Di and the boys as they work to move forward with a life without Phil – Di’s beloved husband and the boys’ father.

While Phil had a relatively small life insurance policy in place and it has helped Di and the boys cover their monthly mortgage, some medical bill and living expenses since Phil’s passing, their situation didn’t foresee a challenging job market for Di. She was laid off from her job shortly before Phil became increasingly ill and while their family was blessed with the additional time with one another as Phil’s time on Earth came to a conclusion. Their household was subsequently left without any income down from two good paying life-supporting positions. The house payment was Phil’s biggest worry and concern for Di and the boys as he laid in the hospital.

Meanwhile, Di began looking for a job within two months of Phil’s passing with hopes that between the life insurance and a job life would begin to move forward as she and the boys worked to rebuild their lives.

Adam has been able to help contribute to the household and after Matthew graduated high school and found a job he too has been able to help in a limited way.

Di is aware she must sell the house because it is not a long-term manageable expense. Meanwhile, she is facing the possibility of foreclosure where she will lose everything she and Phil sacrificed and worked hard for the past 30+ years.

Time is of the essence for her right now. She has leads for three potential solid employment opportunities that are currently in the review process, but timing is such that the ability to bring her mortgage current isn’t possible by the deadline set by her mortgage lender, Chase Home Mortgage. And if one of these jobs do lead to a position it will be a minimum of two weeks on the job before she receives a paycheck. These three positions we believe have come about because of prayer as all during the time Di has actively sought employment these are the first that have been the most promising in securing employment that would support a mortgage with benefits.

Her mortgage lender is working to secure a loan modification based on bringing her account current which right now sits at $6500 and is needed by March 31st, 2016. From this point, they have a program which will work with her as she secures employment and defers April and May’s payment while she begins a new position.

Meanwhile, much like the emotional and physical support extended to the Taylor family throughout this painful ordeal and Phil's subsequent passing - a financial donation would greatly assist in saving Di’s home, so she can bring her mortgage current and get it listed on the market, so she can sell the home and move into an apartment with a more affordable monthly payment.

If you are able to help Di out with a donation to help bring her mortgage current, it would be deeply appreciated and greatly assist Di in continuing to move forward and rebuild her life without Phil.

Phil's physical presence in each of our lives and hearts will be acutely felt forever - the impact Phil had and will continue to have on each of us is a tremendous legacy befitting of a man who loved each of us with an open heart and mind.
