Phillip Moulton was injured in a dirt bike accident in Moab, UT on Saturday, March 28, 2015. Any funds raised from this account will be used to help with medical and living expenses for Phil and his family.
Phil is lucky to be alive after falling off a 125 foot cliff. He has multiple and critical fractures to his hips and both legs. He also broke ribs and separated his shoulder. He will likely spend many weeks in the hospital and many more in a rehab center as part of his difficult and lengthy recovery process.
All who know Phil know that he is a fantastic husband and father to his two boys. Phil owns his own business, "Moulton Auto Glass and Detail" in Driggs, ID. As you can imagine, his injuries will make running his business difficult for a while.
Phil's family is no stranger to difficult times and long hospital stays. His youngest boy (now three years old) was diagnosed with a serious heart defect as a new born known as HLHS. He has already recovered from two very extensive open-heart surgeries. His last surgery, known as the "Fontan," is scheduled for the end of May. Phil and his wife Jerai are also expecting their third child later this fall.
There is no doubt that 2015 will be a trying year for Phil and his family. The reason for creating this account is not to beg the public for money, rather to provide an avenue for family and friends to pitch in and help this wonderful family through an incredibly difficult time.
We're confident that Phil will have a great recovery and that all will end well. The love and prayers that so many are offering in his behalf have been felt and are very much appreciated.
