Pittsburgh Chinese Church and the Interfellowship Association at Carnegie Mellon University are sending a group of roughly 30 college students to Kensington, PA near Philadelphia for a short-term missions trip from March 9-16, 2019. The objective is to minister to members of impoverished communities there, especially children.
This trip has occurred annually for the last decade and repeatedly led to accounts of transformed lives–both for the students that go and the residents in the area. It is for this transformation, giving of love, and improvement of life that we aim to serve.
Currently, our primary partner in this trip is Urban Worship Center (UWC), a local church in Kensington. The partnership was chosen based on an extensive history UWC has serving the area, which has collaborated with students from Carnegie Mellon University, Cornell University, and other schools for more than a decade.
We would like ask you for financial support in this endeavor to serve and uplift individuals in that community. Thank you for contributing!
