Philly Freelance Theater Prod & FOH Staff Support

Philadelphia Arts continue to be deeply affected by COVID-19; festivals, productions, and concerts have been postponed through April and beyond. In addition to artists losing gigs, so are the hardworking people behind the curtain: Production and Front of House Staff. 

I have been a freelance technician for 13 years. It has not been an easy journey, even when the economy was flourishing. So when I became a Director of Production, I made it my personal mission to provide resources for those working behind the scenes.  The Philadelphia Production & FOH freelance community touches every theater in the city and this fundraiser is another way to give back to those that make our theater going experiences so wonderful. 

This fund is aimed to support those Technicians, Stage Managers, Technical Directors, Box Office Managers, Ticket takers, and others who have had their work canceled due to the Coronavirus. Funds will be dispersed as quickly as possible on a first come first serve basis, depending on the amount of money raised. This money will be used to cover rent, food, utilities, and medical aid. We will send out a minimum of $100 and a maximum of $575 to each individual technician via PayPal, Venmo, or Google Pay.
