It's been about two and a half months since my dad has moved back to Michigan. He started a new job, while my mom has stayed in Pennsylvania waiting for their house to sell. She then moved to be here with him on Feb. 28th. On March 9th he went to the doctors due to not having been feeling well since he moved back. The doctor told him to immediately go to the hospital. They sent him to Oakwood South Shore. They have been running tests trying to figure out the cause of his fatigue, swollen glands, sinus issues, and night sweats. They were testing to check for Hepatitis and all came back negative. Then they tested his bone marrow for possible Leukemia and/or Lymphoma. They are not sure exactly which leukemia it is but tests are still being done. The reason for this page is due to my dads insurance is not available due to him not having been at work for over 90 days. Their house in Pennsylvania is still not sold. So they are still paying a mortgage on that house.  My dad was the breadwinner and my mom worked part time as a piano teacher.  But due to the current circumstances my dad can't work and my mom is by his side. Just wanted to help my parents out in any way possible to focus on the importance of getting my dad back to good health. Obviously things will be different with having cancer but God is in control and always works things together for good. Anything you can do, big or small will help out! Thank you again and God Bless.
