In the early morning on February 4th, Phillip did what he loved most and went for a drive. Unfortunately, he was involved in a car accident that took his life.

Phillip attended UC Irvine and was a 3rd year. He was a part of many service organizations at UCI from Circle K to Alpha Phi Omega and he made an impact in so many lives along the way. Phillip was loved by everyone, especially his friends and family.

Phillip was a genuine soul and touched so many hearts. He cared for so many people and would always make sacrifices to put others over himself. Every time he entered a room, he would lighten everyone's mood. One thing was certain if you were ever in a room with him, and that was you would get to hear his contagious laugh which would surely make you feel better and get you to share a laugh with him.

Phillip had a phrase that he would always say to everyone, "That's easssyy." It spoke volumes about how he would always keep trying and never give up. President Lincoln was said, "In the end, it is not the years in your life that count. It is the life in your years." Phillip lived every day to the fullest pushing himself to do more and help his loved ones. And up until his last days, Phillip serviced his family, friends, and the community. Even in the end, he was a registered organ donor.

After the accident, Phillip stayed in the CCU for nearly 5 days and the costs of the medical bill coupled with services and his funeral will be a huge burden on his family. It would be greatly appreciated for us to help his family in any way we can by donating.
