Thanksgiving in the Philippines

Hi everyone! As many of you know, i flew to the Philippines this week and am trying to help the victims of recent super typhoon Haiyan on the day of our American Thanksgiving.
The donation amount at 7pm CST on 11/27/2013 will be used at a local supermarket in Manila to buy goods to ship as relief. Not only will this help the victims, but it will also help the local economy here in the Philippines. We will buy products made/produced here.
We have drivers and helpers who will assist in the transport of goods to the Philippine Red Cross office in Manila. A local hotel has assisted me greatly in getting this coordinated.
The remainder of the day I have volunteered to help in anyway I can with staging, etc at the Red Cross in Manila.
Any donations that come in after 7pm CST on Thanksgiving will be donated to the Philippine Red Cross. I will keep this page up until New Year's Day.
We have a lot to be thankful for, please do what you can to help others in need. A great way to directly help and know exactly where your proceeds are going!
