Philippines Basketball Missionary Trip

Hello family, friends and co-workers,

God has blessed me throughout my life beyond what I deserve with family, health, fitness and a strong connection to the game of basketball. With a team of 17 other men and women, this summer I will be embarking on a missionary trip to Ozamis City-Mindanao, Philippines to conduct a team basketball camp & crusade, with the goal of teaching over 4000 young men about the game of basketball and the Love of God. Over a 10-day period (July 21-31, 2014), we will hold basketball camps in 12 different locations, where each day kids and young male adults will have an opportunity to compete in drills, skill-building exercises and 5-on-5 games. Each night, the youth and their families will be invited to a heart-felt crusade event where the gospel message will be shared.

I am asking for your help in reaching a goal of $3500. Your donations are tax deductible, and will help cover expenses, along with the purchase of basketballs and jerseys, shoes, food, and building materials for various reconstruction projects currently underway as a result of the recent 2013 Typhoon which had a devastating impact on the region.
