Phil Kopf Memorial Fund
Phil Kopf passed away Sunday, July 26. He was 53 years old. This was completely unexpected. Phil and his wife Jana had been with family and friends on a camping and tubing weekend. They returned home and were wrapping up camper cleanup when Phil had a medical emergency. He was attended to right away with cpr, but passed away at the hospital. There was nothing they could do.
Jana and Phil expected many more years together, no one plans for sudden death, in the prime of life. This is just a devastating time for the whole family, and truly, a large part of the community, as Phil was so well known, and well liked.
If you would like to donate to help the family at this time, is would be tremendously appreciated. Service information is below. Due to poor cell service, the service won’t be on Facebook via Reynolds Love, but other arrangements are being worked out to film.
A celebration of his life will be held Friday, July 31, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. the First Lutheran Church at Buffalo with Pastor Victor Rasmussen, officiating.
The service will be streamed on FM 91.1 which will be available near the church.
There will be a book signing Thursday, 30, 2020 from 5-7 p.m. at the First Lutheran Church at Buffalo.
Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery.
Memorials in lieu of flowers are suggested to the Oconto Fire Department, First Lutheran Church At Buffalo or to a 4-H scholarship to be established by the family at a later date.
