UPDATE  Sept. 8, 2017

Phil still has a long road ahead of him. Phil will be starting radiation treatments for six weeks and then chemo treatments for about eight  more months after he finishes radiation treatment.
I wish to thank everyone so very much for the outpouring of love and donations Phil and his family have received! All of you have been amazing! Please keep Phil and his family in your prayers as he goes through many more months of treatment.

 From Sandy and Phil-
Finally got the biopsy report from Maine medical center which is an Anaplastic Oligodendroglioma Grade 3. It is a step down from what he initially was diagnosed with which was a grade 4 glioblastoma. We are all very thankful for that good news. It's still is a very aggressive cancer. He still will need radiation and chemo. We just want to thank everyone for your love and support and all your donations and everything else that you've done for us. We love you all and thank you. We couldn't do this without your support and love. Please keep praying as prayer does work. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

UPDATE
On Sunday the Bray family received the news they were dreading to hear. Phil, aka Birdie, is diagnosed with grade 4 Glioblastoma. It is a very aggressive form of cancer that has no cure. Treatment will be to extend his life.  He will undergoing radiation and chemo for six weeks. He will have another MRI after six weeks to see it the tumor has grown or not.
Phil is going home on Tuesday. His wife Sandy has still not returned to work.
Any donation will be greatly appreciated.
The Bray family extends thier sincere thanks and appreciation for all of the prayers, support and donations from everyone.

I am starting this Gofundme page for my very dear friend Phillip Bray. Phil is one that would give you the shirt off his back if you needed help and now he is in dire need of our help.
Phil had brain surgery on July 30th to remove a brain tumor and has a long road ahead of him. The doctor thinks it is cancer, but we are still waiting on the biopsy report. I will update this page as soon as we know the results of the biopsy.
He will be out of work indefinitely and is in financial difficulty because of this unexpected medical event. What makes matters worse is his wife, Sandy Bray, underwent a major medical event a few months ago and exhausted all of her time off from her work.  She is not bringing home a paycheck when she is at the hospital supporting Phil.
We do not know at this point how long Phil will be out of work or if he will ever be able to return to work. Insurance covers many of the medical expenses, but not everything. Once Phil exhausts all his leave time, there will be no money coming in to pay the normal household bills.

I hope by starting this GoFundMe page it will help alleviate the financial stress and emotional strain this family is going through at this time.
