Phi Delta Theta - Hurricane Harvey

Tax deductible

We enjoy life by the help and society of others.

This simple yet profound statement is the motto that members of Phi Delta Theta International Fraternity draw upon as they navigate their lives. Fraternity is family. Fraternity is community.

Hurricane Harvey has already had a devasting impact on the people of Texas and Louisiana. On Wednesday, August 30, Phi Delta Theta was set to award the Lou Gehrig Award Memorial Award to José Altuve of the Houston Astros at Minute Paid Park in Downtown Houston. The award recognizes those who exemplify great character and those who serve their communities selflessly, just like Brother Lou Gehrig did during his lifetime.

As Phi Delta Theta reschedules the Lou Gehrig Memorial Award presentation in Houston, we felt that we could do something in the meantime to help those in the area. We know that many Phi Delt brothers have been affected by the Harvey, and we want to mobilize our people to do what we can to support them. Proceeds from this fundraiser benefit the American Red Cross and are being adminstered by members of the Phi Delta Theta General Headquarters.
